Daksha entered the beauty industry in 1994, after a successful career in sales and completion of a three-year ITEC course.
Quickly recognising her natural ability to heal others, she took time out to study Ayurveda in India and master Thai massage at the Wat Po academy in Bangkok.
Combining her ability to heal with advanced beauty treatments from Guinot, SkinCeuticals and Dermalogica, Daksha undertook teaching at Champneys and Hertfordshire College, to establish her first prana spa, Healing Hands St Albans, in 1997.
Outstanding demand for prana treatments lead to the creation of another two prana spas, Healing Hands Beauty and Healing Hands London, Healing Hands Workplace and a decidated training school, the Prana Academy, which also seeks to place prana students in suitable placements across the country.
Daksha is also personally committed to helping each of her students enahance their own wellbeing as the first step towards enhancing the wellbeing of others.
